Terms and Conditions – Phone Sales

Welcome to Univer Phone.
These Terms and Conditions govern the sale of used cell phones and electronic devices (“Device”) to Univer Phone. By submitting a request, accepting an offer or handing over your device, you agree to the terms below.
1. Eligibility
To sell a device to Univer Phone, you must:
- be at least 18 years old or have permission from a parent or legal guardian;
- be the rightful owner of the device;
- have the legal right to sell or transfer the device;
- provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information.
Univer Phone reserves the right to request valid identification as needed.
2. Device evaluation
The estimated amount shown on the website or given before the inspection is for information only.
The final value depends in particular on:
- the model;
- the storage capacity;
- the cosmetic condition;
- the functional condition;
- the battery condition;
- any damage;
- a carrier lock;
- active accounts or security features;
- market demand.
A final inspection is carried out before the offer is confirmed.
3. Device condition
You are responsible for accurately reporting:
- visible damage;
- software issues;
- water damage;
- previous repairs;
- replaced parts;
- any functional issue.
If the actual condition differs from the information provided, Univer Phone may:
- adjust the offered value;
- refuse the purchase;
- return the device to the customer (return shipping charges may apply).
4. Data backup and deletion
Before handing over your device, you must:
- back up all your data;
- remove your SIM and memory cards;
- sign out of linked accounts (Apple ID, Google, Samsung, etc.);
- turn off any location or lock feature (for example Find My iPhone or Find My Device);
- reset the device if asked.
Univer Phone is not responsible for:
- data loss;
- content left on the device;
- accounts that were not removed.
5. Proof of ownership
By selling your device, you confirm that:
- the device is neither stolen nor obtained fraudulently;
- no active financing or unpaid balance is attached to it;
- there is no dispute over its ownership.
Univer Phone reserves the right to refuse any transaction it considers suspicious.
6. Offer and acceptance
A transaction is considered complete only when:
- the device has been received and inspected;
- the final offer has been confirmed;
- the customer has accepted the offered amount.
Until then, any estimate remains non-binding.
7. Payment
Payment is made using the method offered by Univer Phone at the time of the transaction.
Processing times may vary depending on:
- the chosen method;
- internal validation;
- busy periods.
8. Refusal or cancellation
Univer Phone may decline a transaction, in particular if:
- the device is locked;
- the device does not match its description;
- the device has damage that was not reported;
- ownership cannot be confirmed;
- the device is not eligible for the program.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Univer Phone is not liable for:
- data loss;
- indirect losses;
- delays caused by circumstances beyond its control.
10. Changes to these terms
Univer Phone may change these terms at any time without notice. The version published on the website prevails.
